Limassol
A 37-storey seafront residential tower on 28th October Avenue, Limassol, with 83 residences.
ONE stands on 28th October Avenue, the palm-lined seafront promenade of Limassol between the business district and the old town. The tower rises 37 storeys with only three residences per floor, 83 in all, looking out over the sea, the city and the mountains behind.
The residences fall into three groups. The two and three-bedroom apartments come in either a conventional or an open-plan layout. The Sky Homes occupy levels 31 to 34 and are three and four-bedroom duplexes with double-height atriums and 270-degree views. At the top, the penthouse spans the upper three storeys, with its own entrance lobby, a private outdoor pool area and a 360-degree panorama.
The architecture is by WKK, which took the gentle arc of a yacht as its starting point, with Atkins, HBA and BuroHappold among the consultants. Marble, glass, stone, stainless steel and wood set the palette, with floor-to-ceiling glazing on the sea-facing elevations, and the building is designed for low energy consumption.
Residents share a spa, a large pool, a bar with panoramic views, a fitness centre, a restaurant, temperature-controlled wine storage, a business centre and a large sea-facing terrace three storeys above street level, backed by a 24/7 concierge and secure underground parking. The beach is about 100 metres away and Limassol Marina about 3.4 km.
Construction was completed in 2021 and handover to owners began in 2022. The project has collected a number of awards, including Best Residential High-rise Development in Europe at the International Property Awards 2016–2017.
