Tsada, Paphos
A golf-integrated residential community at Tsada, about ten minutes from Paphos.
Minthis lies at Tsada, about ten minutes from Paphos, on a plateau 550 metres above sea level in the heart of Cyprus's wine country. The site covers roughly five million square metres of a Natura 2000 conservation area; only three per cent is being built on and the rest stays as natural landscape, which keeps the overall density very low.
At its centre is an 18-hole championship golf course that winds past walnut and fig trees, olive groves and a twelfth-century monastery, with views to the Troodos Mountains. The course was designed by Donald Steel in 1994 and renovated by Mackenzie & Ebert. The masterplan is by WATG and the homes are designed by Woods Bagot, using ochre limestone from the Troodos, Iroko wood and generous glazing.
The product range includes residences designed around their owners, the butterfly-roofed Topos Residences, villas with private plunge pools, two-bedroom Suites next to the spa, and Lofos, on the highest point of the resort, with villas, apartments and duplexes taking in panoramic views.
On-site facilities include a 2,000 sq m Wellness Spa with a 25 m indoor heated pool and a gym with a yoga deck, a driving range, tennis courts, the Minthis vineyard, trails for walking, mountain biking and riding, children's playgrounds, and restaurants at the Plateia and the Clubhouse. The resort was inaugurated in 2014, and the Plateia and spa opened in 2022. Minthis has won a series of golf, spa and sustainability awards, among them Best Golf Course in Cyprus at the World Golf Awards 2022.
