Corrections
The Legation Times receives and acts on any report of a factual error that comes with evidence.
How to send a correction request
Write to [email protected] with [Correction] at the start of the subject line, including:
- the link to the article and the passage in question;
- what you believe is inaccurate;
- the source to check it against — preferably a document from the competent authority, with a direct link.
How we handle it
- Acknowledge receipt as soon as possible.
- Check the point against the original document.
- If the report is correct: revise the content and record what changed and when, inside the article.
- If the report is not sufficiently supported: reply setting out the source we relied on.
Revision log
Every revised article carries a note at the end of the content giving the date and reason for the change. We do not amend facts silently.
Outside the scope of corrections
Differences of opinion, requests to add the name of a service provider, or requests to assess an individual application fall outside this page.
