The Legation Times is an information site on migration, citizenship, tax and cross-border assets, operated by Cypheon.
Scope
We track the programmes that let individuals and families obtain residence rights or citizenship through investment, together with the tax and asset frameworks attached to those decisions. The scope runs from European golden visas and Caribbean citizenship-by-investment programmes to investor and entrepreneur routes in North America, Asia and the Middle East.
The aim is to make the mechanism of each programme legible: the conditions set, the obligations that follow, the real risks and how an application is assessed — based on documents published by the competent authorities.
How the content is produced
Content is compiled from official sources and sources we are permitted to use, following the process described in Editorial standards and the source criteria in Sources. Every article names its source at the top and links straight to the original document.
The Legation Times does not carry out journalistic activity: no interviews, no investigations, no reportage, and nothing published directly by readers or partners.
Why we stay neutral
The Legation Times does not provide migration services, does not take referral commissions and does not sell investment products. We do not name or link to any migration advisory firm in our articles, even where their role in a process is discussed.
Our running costs do not depend on which programme you choose or which firm you work with — that is the condition on which the analysis here stays objective.
Responsibility for content
Content is reviewed and approved by Cypheon’s content management team before publication. Any concern about an article is received and handled through Corrections and Takedown requests.
What this site does not do
Everything on The Legation Times is reference information, not legal advice, tax advice or an investment recommendation. The conditions of residence and citizenship programmes change often, sometimes with immediate effect. Before committing capital or filing an application, check with the competent authority and consult a licensed immigration lawyer and an independent tax adviser.
