Graphic designer

The Legation Times is hiring a full-time graphic designer, working from our Ho Chi Minh City office. This position holds how the site looks.

The work

Produce cover images, social images and data graphics inside the site’s existing identity system.

That system is already defined: palette, typefaces, frame ratios and contrast rules all exist and are checked by script. The work is to improve it, not to build a new one each time.

Build data graphics for investment thresholds, programme comparisons and policy timelines — the class of work where a figure laid out badly is a figure stated wrongly.

What you need

The ability to work inside an existing system and improve it.

Data graphics that stay readable at phone width.

A portfolio you can show.
